ADG announces new COO appointment

The Directors of ADG Global Supply Limited are pleased to announce that Mr Michael Arnold has been appointed as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) effective 14 June 2010.

The new role of Chief Operating Officer is a pivotal senior executive position within ADG, reporting to the Managing Director and responsible for the Customer Service & Supply Chain Management operating unit.

ADG’s Managing Director, Mr John Mancini said:

“Mike’s appointment completes a process of building a diverse and experienced management team to lead a sustainable profit growth strategy. The management team appointments over the last 6 months bring to ADG business sound industry expertise and knowledge in supply chain, logistics, integrated supply, industrial supply, contracts and financial management. The Company is now well equipped to develop people, systems and processes to drive its strategy and provide returns for shareholders."

Mr Arnold, 42, is an experienced senior management executive with over 20 years of logistics and supply chain management experience within a number of market leading logistics organizations in Australia.

The appointment of Mr Arnold represents a significant investment in ADG’s supply chain management capability. For the last 10 years, Mr Arnold has held Managing Director and senior executive management positions within companies such as Lakewood Logistics Pty Ltd (a JV Company with Australia Post’s logistics arm Post Logistics), SWADS (State Warehousing and Distribution Services) and AirRoad Logistics Pty Ltd.

During his distinguished career, which includes a number of years in the Resource industry, Mr Arnold has demonstrated strong leadership in delivering robust supply chain systems and processes that have supported a sustainable framework for the delivery of revenue and profit growth.
